Set up your agents
- Create your account with a passkey. Your private workspace is created automatically.
- On your Mac or Windows PC, select Set up a Mac or Set up Windows. Follow the four-step guide. Download and unzip the installer, then click I have unzipped it → Get pairing code. Install Node.js 24 LTS if needed.
- The next screen names the exact file to double-click: Install App.command on Mac or Install App.cmd on Windows. A Terminal/command window opens. Paste the code at Pairing code: and press Enter. Press Enter again to accept the computer name and default clients. On Windows, finish by clicking Install and start.
- Reload/restart your agents once and review their hooks if requested. Use Choose agents to select sessions.
- Open watch.zasady.com on your phone or tablet and sign in to the same account. View messages and answer questions there.
Repeat for each computer using a new pairing code. Each person has their own account and dashboard. No private link or Cloudflare account is needed.
Use the same account on your phone and computer
Save the passkey on your phone or in a synced password manager. When signing in on a computer, the browser can offer a phone/tablet option with a QR code. A passkey saved only in Windows Hello stays on that Windows device. Chrome’s cross-device instructions and Microsoft’s passkey options. Add a backup passkey in Account before relying on one device.
After a restart
Sign in to your computer. The background app starts automatically. Mac: look for AWH in the menu bar. Windows: look for Agent Watch Hub in the tray, including its hidden-icons area. App menus open the dashboard, pause reporting, restart the collector, show logs and turn startup off.
The website stays available when either computer is off. Only computers running agents need to stay awake and connected.
Answer questions
Tell each agent:
Use agent_watch.ask_user for ordinary questions and wait for my dashboard answer. Include your exact session_id if asked.
Use the Answer button on that agent's card. Native permissions still require the agent app. Questions expire after 15 minutes. Keep the page open for updates; background push is not implemented.
Supported connections
Codex and supported Copilot sessions: status, messages and question tool. Claude Code: optional experimental integration. Other MCP clients, including clients using DeepSeek: question tool only. A model API by itself is not a monitored agent.
Before installing
Node.js 24 LTS is required. Mac needs macOS 13.5 or later; the app includes Apple Silicon and Intel binaries. The Windows app uses built-in PowerShell and Node. These beta installers are not Apple-notarized or Microsoft-signed. Apple explains its downloaded-app checks here. Do not disable system-wide security settings. Actual Windows and Intel Mac acceptance testing is still needed.
Account and data
Use a synced passkey and add a second passkey from Account. Email recovery is not available. Workspace data is stored in the service operator’s Cloudflare account and is not end-to-end encrypted. Message sharing is off by default; names, statuses and explicit questions are shared when you pair a computer. Workspace owners can export/delete workspace data and revoke computers. To collaborate, invite existing account handles through Team.
Your friend's account is separate from yours. Share this page, not your private access link or collector data folder.
